Coffee and Cacao

The ArBolivia Project not only sequesters carbon by growing trees for timber, but adopts a much more rounded model of Climate Smart Agriculture.  Trees are often planted in conjunction with coffee and cacao, the trees providing shade for the coffee and cacao plants.

Farmers receive a twofold benefit in the form of short-term income from the coffee and cacao, and a long term benefit from the timber.

This means that not only can you offset your carbon footprint, but you can support smallholders in growing coffee and cacao.
