Becoming an Affiliate

ArBolivia is interested in working with smaller companies, charities, schools and colleges, clubs associations, who are seeking to encourage environmental responsibility within their organisation.

We are able to identify specific families or communities and offer a wide range of support material and opportunities for co-operation, including organised visits to Bolivia.  ArBolivia offers a wealth of opportunities for inspiring educational experience, team building and staff motivation.  Our partnership with the Eagle Ski Club is a good example of how we have worked with a non-profit making organisation.

Affiliate Partnership – Eagle Ski Club

Eagle Ski Club has around 1,300 members devoted to ski-mountaineering and organises or facilitates trips for members in mountain ranges throughout the world. In response to increasing environmental awareness among its growing membership it has formed a “Climate Care Committee” in order to educate its members and promote “low carbon travel”.

Since the only way for its members to reduce their emissions to zero is simply not to ski at all, carbon offsetting provides the only practical solution.

The club has now started to ask trip organisers to use a simple calculator to measure and report the carbon footprint of tour members’ travel arrangements.

It has also paid for a stock of ArBolivia’s Gold Standard certificates, which members may purchase at cost on a voluntary basis. The club will report sales volumes annually to ArBolivia and the appropriate volume of certificates will be retired.
